About the Artist :
Ambareesh
Pittie is a self-taught photographer specializing in stage photography,
landscapes, candid portraiture and wildlife. Based in Hyderabad, he did his
schooling from Vidyaranya High School. His multi-faceted approach to
photography incorporates 32 years of innovative artistic interpretation from
books and magazines on photography.
His
passion for imagery and its ability to communicate began at a very young age
when he started developing his own prints from home. He bought his first camera
(Nikon EM) in 1982. Stage photography is his passion and he has been
photographing live performances since 1982.
He
attributes his growth as a photographer to encouragement and support from his
family and also the philosophy of his school. This is his third solo
exhibition.
