ART INSTALLATION : A News Breed
By Sivakesav Rao Kandru
Date and Venue will be announced soon.
About The Exhibition:
We eagerly wait for the newspapers every morning. We binge on it, even before we touch our breakfasts. We glue ourselves to TVs, eagerly listening and watching breaking news, even before our dinners. We entertain and suffer arguments, abuses, fistfights, murders, terrorists’ acts and extremist threats. For us scams and scamsters are no more a worrisome topic. They are entertainment. Tens of crores of loot is petty news, hundred plus is interesting and thousands of Crores is exciting.
In short, We drink News, eat News and breathe News. Then what?
Do we only excrete the NEWS as it is?
Are we only a NEWS obsessed society that eats it, only to pass it out, unregistered and unaffected?
